Public Relations Secretary

Jia Ning is currently pursuing a diploma in Accountancy at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. She has been volunteering regularly at Meet-The-People sessions, where she learnt that there are many needy families in the community. Her passion in serving the community started when she helped out with distributing rations to needy families during one of the Chinese New Year celebrations. She feels satisfaction in helping needy families and the less privileged. She saw joining the YEC as a first step for her to help out at the community level, to reach out to the less privileged with her peers, moving towards the same goal. After participating in several events with the YEC, she felt that the YEC not only extended their commitment to help the residents, they also came up with many events to raise awareness among the youth about saving the environment.
