Wei Ling is in her second year of study at Tampines Junior College in the science faculty. Having been on the volunteerism scene for the past 7 years, she joined Ci Yuan YEC to extend the outreach of her community work. Focusing mainly on animal welfare, she is now actively working with animal welfare groups and relevant authorities to raise awareness on eradicating cruelty and ignorance towards animals, as well as tapping societal dynamics to join in this cause. Aside from animal welfare, Wei Ling’s interest in bridging social capitalism and alleviating social issues had her supporting projects that benefit the underprivileged of society such as the lower income group. She has also helped to mentor aspiring youths. In her free time, she enjoys travelling on feet around the globe, with a camera and a good book on hand. She also has a strong passion for the fine arts, culture and history, in particular military history. Her constant pursuit for perfection has her fine-tune every task she undertakes to its epitome.
