Youth Exchange Programme Secretary

Meryline graduated from the National University of Singapore, School of Science. She is currently working in a cleaning equipment distributor. Meryline has joined YEC since 2009 when she participated in various events such as House Painting, President’s Challenge, National EnvirOlympics Challenge and others. She is the recipient of the Ecofriend Award 2011. She is fortunate to be part of Ci Yuan YEC where she was given many opportunities to organize events locally, make many friends, and travel to different countries to partake in exchange programmes. Overall, YEC has shaped her into a better individual who dares to venture out of her comfort zone. Through these experiences, Meryline challenged herself and learnt valuable lessons. She has discovered her weakness and is able to leverage on her strengths to contribute to society. She believes that in order to excel, we have to attempt what we’re afraid to do. In her free time, she loves to do cross stitching, painting and to experiment with different recipes to cook various dishes.
