Yi Yun started volunteering after her polytechnic days. Her first involvement with volunteering was with the Heartware Network in the National Day Parade. She was introduced to Ci Yuan YEC in 2009 when she was invited by a friend to be part of the main committee for the NYEC. Presently, she is a working adult, and has previously graduated from the University of London External programme with a degree in Banking and Finance. She believes that volunteering should come from the heart. She hopes to influence people positively and help the community.
