On 21st April 2012, 275 youths gathered at Ci Yuan Green Park to make an impact for our environment. In conjunction with Youth for the Environment Day and Earth Day, Ci Yuan CC YEC and NYEC mobilized 22 Primary and Secondary School students to spread awareness in using lesser plastic bags. A total of 120,000 plastic bags were collected to achieve our aim to construct the largest plastic sculpture in world. All collected plastic bags will be recycled after our event. We hope that such acts of saving the environment can do a long way in championing a cause that could preserve our environment...
