Ang Hong is currently a second year student at Nanyang Technological University, pursuing a double degree in Business and Accountancy. He has been involved with the YEC since 2007, organizing and participating in many local and overseas community events. Most notably, he organized a constituency-wide Anti Littering Campaign in 2010, where his team of 400 youth volunteers from Anderson Secondary School advocated anti-littering messages to more than 20,000 households in the constituency. He was awarded the Ecofriend Award and the HSBC – NYAA Award in the year 2011. During his free time, Ang Hong likes to play racket sports, such as table tennis and tennis. He also enjoys travelling to new places to immerse in and experience a foreign culture. For the upcoming term, Ang Hong hopes to be able to interact and work together with the new committee to create more events to benefit the residents.
